Waterberg Extreme MTB Race 330km | 26hrs

The Waterberg Extreme mountain bike event will take riders and their support crews over 330km from the rural Brits area in North West to Thabazimbi, through the scenic WaterbergMountains. The event takes place on farm- and district gravel roads, with no technical riding, some sections of the route does comprise thick sand and loose stones. Race format:The 330km race distance is broken up into six stages, with a checkpoint at the end of each stage where riders will meet their support vehicles, and a water point roughly in the middle of each stage.
- Solo Rider (R2350): Solo riders complete the entire race distance.
- Two-Rider (R2950), and four-Rider (R4150) Relay Teams: All riders ride stages 1 and 6 together, and alternate stages 2, 3, 4, and 5. In the two-rider relay format riders will complete at least 200km, and in the four-rider relays at least 145km of riding.
